Technofied Lesson Plan

See my box folder below for the SAMR elements of my technofied lesson plan along with my narrative.

The example components of the lesson are:

Click here for an example of a WWII Tiki Toki timeline that I made to show what is possible if the student-created timeline is continuously updated and revised by the teacher. Students will be able to use the timeline to explore different media and for review.

Click here for an example of the Google Slides presentation that the class would create with WWII profiles.

Click here for an example of a collaborative Padlet wall that the students would use to work on their group projects. I simulated the students posting information that they would have in their project as well as students providing feedback about the project.

Here is an example that I found online of what I expect the student projects would be like (I did not make this).

Interview Podcast

My sister interviewed me over Skype, which brought up interesting technical issues. She also decided to improvise questions based on what she wanted to know. That too was....interesting.

From Birth to Missoula

From Birth to Missoula
The above map image shows my trip from Virginia to Missoula. If it was a true depiction of my journey from birth to Missoula there would be many more lines to and fro, mostly up and down the east coast (although I did live in Wisconsin for two days). When I look at this image I remember the multi-day trek out to Montana a mere two years ago. I'm not in a hurry to do that again any time soon!
